Mission Update: A Year of Adventure, Encounter, and Growth

A Look Back at 2019: Serving and Connecting Across the Globe

Peru: Transforming Lives Through Medical Missions

2019 was a year full of incredible adventures and encounters. Team Gather & Co had the privilege of serving in various locations around the world, spreading the love of Christ and providing medical, dental, and optical care to thousands of people in need. From Peru to Canada, Redding, and beyond, here’s a recap of the year:

In January and June of 2019, we traveled to Peru, serving over 14,000 people in just four weeks. Through medical, dental, and optical clinics, we provided essential services and touched countless lives. Payton and Kelly also had the opportunity to teach English in local schools and share the love of Jesus with children in the community.

Kelowna, Canada: Sharing Identity in Christ

In September, Kelly had the honor of speaking at a conference in Kelowna, Canada, where she addressed the theme of identity in Jesus. This experience was a powerful reminder of God’s love and our worth in Him.

Redding, California: Celebrating 25 Years of Marriage and Ministry

October took us to Redding, California, where Corbett and Kelly attended a conference focused on helping others encounter Christ’s love. It was also a special time for them as they celebrated 25 years of marriage. Their journey continues to be one of growth and shared adventures in faith.

Looking Ahead: 2020 – New Opportunities for Service and Ministry

Columbia: A New Adventure in Sharing the Gospel

As we step into 2020, we’re excited about the new opportunities that lie ahead. Team Gather & Co will be traveling to Columbia in February to share the gospel and the love of Jesus. This marks a new chapter in our mission work, and we’re praying for open doors and meaningful encounters.

Peru: Returning to Chincha for Medical and Construction Projects

In June 2020, we’ll return to Chincha, Peru, for two weeks to continue our work in medical, dental, and optical clinics. We’re also planning construction projects that will help improve local communities. Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for this mission.

Helpful Home Tips for the Winter Season

Preparing Your Home for Texas Winter Weather

As the colder months approach, it’s essential to prepare your home to ensure it remains safe and efficient during winter. Here are some helpful tips:

Concrete Driveway Maintenance

While cleaning your concrete driveway might seem like a minor task, it can save you from future cracks and wear. During freezing temperatures, using playground sand on your driveway can help prevent icing, ensuring safer access to your home. Be sure to clean your concrete with a phosphate-free cleaner to preserve its integrity and prevent damage to the sealer.

Protect Outdoor Faucets

Don’t forget to remove garden hoses from hose bibs and place foam covers over outdoor spigots to avoid freezing. This simple step can prevent costly plumbing repairs.

Swimming Pool Care

If you have a swimming pool, make sure to turn the pump on to keep the water flowing. This will prevent damage caused by stagnant water during freezing temperatures.

Care for Your Pets

Make sure to bring in outdoor pets or provide extra protection from the cold weather. A warm cover or blanket can go a long way in keeping your fur-babies comfortable during the winter months.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cabinet refacing is the process of cabinet resurfacing. This involves removing the existing cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and hardware. The cabinet boxes are then sanded and a new finish is applied. New doors and drawer fronts are then installed, and new hardware is added.

The installation process for a bath from Corbel Enterprises LLC typically looks like this:

First, one of our qualified professionals will come to your home to take measurements and assess your needs. They will then provide you with a free, no-obligation estimate.

If you decide to move forward with us, we will work with you to schedule a time for installation that is convenient for you. On the day of installation, our team will arrive on time and ready to work.

They will begin by prepping the area for installation. This may involve removing your old bathtub or shower, if you have one. Next, they will install your new bathtub or shower, making sure everything is properly sealed and secure.

Once the installation is complete, they will clean up the work area and dispose of any debris. They will then go over the warranty information with you and answer any questions you may have.

We strive to make the process as quick and easy for you as possible!

A shower base is a pan that serves as the bottom of a shower. It is typically made of fiberglass, acrylic, or stone and helps to contain water within the shower. A shower base is an important part of a shower as it helps to prevent water from leaking out and damaging the floor.

Our walk-in bathtubs come with a variety of features that are designed to make
your bathing experience as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Some of the features our tubs come with include:

-A low step-in height that makes it easy to get in and out of the tub
-A textured floor that prevents slipping
-A built-in seat that provides a comfortable place to sit while bathing
-A hand-held shower head that allows you to bathe without having to get up out of the tub
-Adjustable water and air jets that provide a relaxing massage

There are a few things to consider when trying to decide whether a tiled shower or an acrylic shower is right for you. First, think about your budget. Tiled showers can be more expensive to install than acrylic showers, so if cost is a factor, acrylic may be the better option. Second, think about maintenance. Acrylic showers are easier to clean and require less upkeep than tiled showers. Finally, think about your personal preferences. Do you prefer the look of tile, or the ease of acrylic? Ultimately, the decision comes down to what you value most in a shower.
