Mission Update: Serving in Costa Rica, Colombia, and Beyond

Costa Rica: A Life-Changing Mission Trip

In late February, Corbett, Kelly, and Payton headed off to Costa Rica for a new adventure in medical, dental, and optical missions. During their time there, they provided women’s health services, ultrasounds, physicals, and glasses. Kelly also had a complete dental unit set up for periodontal scaling, fillings, and extractions. The team then visited the Methodist Children’s Home, where they toured the facility and made plans for future teamwork.

Colombia: Spreading the Love of Jesus

Before Costa Rica, our family traveled to Colombia, where we hit the streets to share the love of Jesus. Over 700 hearts were won for Christ, and many continue to be discipled. Bogota and the rest of Colombia are alive with hunger for a move of God. Logan and Payton shared their testimonies each day, and the team prayed for physical, emotional, and mental healing. It was a proud moment for us as parents, and we are excited to go back and share the gospel again.

Are you ready to answer the call? We are ready to return to Colombia and continue spreading God’s word. Is that your calling?

What’s Next: Uncertainty and Faith

As we navigate the uncertainty of Covid-19 and closed borders, one thing is certain: Jesus has called us to serve the least of these. We are hopeful that we’ll return to Costa Rica and Colombia and are also praying for an opportunity to serve in Africa this fall.

Corbett’s Helpful Hints: Springtime Maintenance

With all the rain in central Texas this spring, it’s essential to check your property for standing water. Standing water can attract mosquitoes, so be sure to change your outdoor pet and bird bath water daily. Citronella plants can also help keep your patio mosquito-free.

LED Lighting for a Bug-Free Zone

Switching to LED lights on your patio or near your back door can help reduce the number of bugs and save you money. LED lights last longer, use less energy, and attract fewer insects. For a complete bug-free zone, consider using yellow LED lights.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cabinet refacing is the process of cabinet resurfacing. This involves removing the existing cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and hardware. The cabinet boxes are then sanded and a new finish is applied. New doors and drawer fronts are then installed, and new hardware is added.

The installation process for a bath from Corbel Enterprises LLC typically looks like this:

First, one of our qualified professionals will come to your home to take measurements and assess your needs. They will then provide you with a free, no-obligation estimate.

If you decide to move forward with us, we will work with you to schedule a time for installation that is convenient for you. On the day of installation, our team will arrive on time and ready to work.

They will begin by prepping the area for installation. This may involve removing your old bathtub or shower, if you have one. Next, they will install your new bathtub or shower, making sure everything is properly sealed and secure.

Once the installation is complete, they will clean up the work area and dispose of any debris. They will then go over the warranty information with you and answer any questions you may have.

We strive to make the process as quick and easy for you as possible!

A shower base is a pan that serves as the bottom of a shower. It is typically made of fiberglass, acrylic, or stone and helps to contain water within the shower. A shower base is an important part of a shower as it helps to prevent water from leaking out and damaging the floor.

Our walk-in bathtubs come with a variety of features that are designed to make
your bathing experience as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Some of the features our tubs come with include:

-A low step-in height that makes it easy to get in and out of the tub
-A textured floor that prevents slipping
-A built-in seat that provides a comfortable place to sit while bathing
-A hand-held shower head that allows you to bathe without having to get up out of the tub
-Adjustable water and air jets that provide a relaxing massage

There are a few things to consider when trying to decide whether a tiled shower or an acrylic shower is right for you. First, think about your budget. Tiled showers can be more expensive to install than acrylic showers, so if cost is a factor, acrylic may be the better option. Second, think about maintenance. Acrylic showers are easier to clean and require less upkeep than tiled showers. Finally, think about your personal preferences. Do you prefer the look of tile, or the ease of acrylic? Ultimately, the decision comes down to what you value most in a shower.
