Mission Update: Impacting Lives Through Service

At Gather & Co, our passion goes beyond building homes; it extends to making a difference in communities around the world. This summer, our team traveled to Chincha, Peru, to serve through educational programs, medical clinics, and outreach initiatives. Here’s a recap of our mission and how you can get involved.

Mission in Chincha, Peru: A Summer of Service

In the summer of [Year], Kelly and Payton returned to Chincha, Peru, for a month-long mission trip. They taught English in local schools, where students performed a dramatic reenactment of the parable of Jesus feeding the 5000, showcasing the power of storytelling in spreading the message of hope.

Serving with Clinics and Construction Teams

Corbett, Logan, and 52 volunteers from Waco, San Antonio, and Heber Springs, Arkansas, joined the mission in Chincha. Together, they provided medical, dental, and optical services to over 4400 people. Corbett also led a construction team focused on improving community facilities.

The outreach didn’t stop there. Evening programs included Vacation Bible School (VBS) and the Cup of Milk ministry, where over 1500 children received a hot meal that they otherwise would not have had access to.

Looking Ahead to Future Missions

We’re excited for the upcoming mission trips, including a return to Chincha in June 2020. Stay tuned for more details and how you can participate!

Columbia 2020: A New Mission Opportunity

In February 2020, the Gather & Co family will embark on a mission trip to Columbia, where they’ll evangelize door-to-door and share Christ’s love with those who have never heard the gospel. This adventure is a new chapter in our mission work, and we can’t wait to see the impact it will have.

Corbett’s Helpful Hint: Prepare Your Roof for Fall

Fall brings rain, falling leaves, and sometimes broken limbs. Corbett shares these helpful tips for preparing your roof for the season:

  • Inspect your roof and remove fallen limbs and leaves in the valleys to prevent damage.
  • Perform inspections after heavy rains or wind storms to check for issues.
  • Install gutters to prevent rain from washing out the ground around your home.
  • Gutter guards can help prevent leaves and debris from clogging your gutters, keeping your roof and gutters clear.

To honor our veterans, Gather & Co offers a special service: we will send a team member to place covers on all of your outdoor spigots at no cost. Contact our office to schedule this service as a thank-you for your service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cabinet refacing is the process of cabinet resurfacing. This involves removing the existing cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and hardware. The cabinet boxes are then sanded and a new finish is applied. New doors and drawer fronts are then installed, and new hardware is added.

The installation process for a bath from Corbel Enterprises LLC typically looks like this:

First, one of our qualified professionals will come to your home to take measurements and assess your needs. They will then provide you with a free, no-obligation estimate.

If you decide to move forward with us, we will work with you to schedule a time for installation that is convenient for you. On the day of installation, our team will arrive on time and ready to work.

They will begin by prepping the area for installation. This may involve removing your old bathtub or shower, if you have one. Next, they will install your new bathtub or shower, making sure everything is properly sealed and secure.

Once the installation is complete, they will clean up the work area and dispose of any debris. They will then go over the warranty information with you and answer any questions you may have.

We strive to make the process as quick and easy for you as possible!

A shower base is a pan that serves as the bottom of a shower. It is typically made of fiberglass, acrylic, or stone and helps to contain water within the shower. A shower base is an important part of a shower as it helps to prevent water from leaking out and damaging the floor.

Our walk-in bathtubs come with a variety of features that are designed to make
your bathing experience as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Some of the features our tubs come with include:

-A low step-in height that makes it easy to get in and out of the tub
-A textured floor that prevents slipping
-A built-in seat that provides a comfortable place to sit while bathing
-A hand-held shower head that allows you to bathe without having to get up out of the tub
-Adjustable water and air jets that provide a relaxing massage

There are a few things to consider when trying to decide whether a tiled shower or an acrylic shower is right for you. First, think about your budget. Tiled showers can be more expensive to install than acrylic showers, so if cost is a factor, acrylic may be the better option. Second, think about maintenance. Acrylic showers are easier to clean and require less upkeep than tiled showers. Finally, think about your personal preferences. Do you prefer the look of tile, or the ease of acrylic? Ultimately, the decision comes down to what you value most in a shower.
